Housing starts up 9.4 per cent from October: CMHC
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. says the annual pace of housing starts rose 9.4 per cent in November. The seasonally adjusted annual rate of housing starts came in at 254,058 units in November, up from 232,245 units in October.
Canada's housing market stuck in 'holding pattern'
Home sales across Canada barely moved in November, dropping 0.6 per cent from October, according to CREA‘s monthly data. Its home price index fell 0.4 per cent between October and November. The national average home price was $682,219.
