UPDATED WITH ADDITIONAL COMMENT: Enclosed shopping centre specialist Primaris REIT (PMZ.UN-T) has an agreement to acquire the million-square-foot Les Galeries de la Capitale in Quebec City for $325 million in one of the largest retail transactions in the country this year.

Despite an expanding pipeline, data centre demand continues to outpace supply across the Americas, resulting in consistently declining vacancy rates. Canada's largest data centre market, Toronto, saw vacancy decline from five to four per cent so far in 2024.
